Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of your Frequently Asked Questions regarding becoming a Wine Adventure Consultant
1. How much does it cost to become a Wine Adventure Consultant (WAC) and what is included?
The initial cost is $295. This includes your personalized website, your $30 annual fee, 6 bottles of our award winning wines, and some marketing supplies to help you get started.
2. Is the initial fee a one time fee?
The initial $295 is a one time registration fee. After that, you will be responsible for a $30 annual fee which will renew your consultant status.
3. Do I need to have a lot of wine knowledge to become a Wine Adventure Consultant (WAC)?
You do not need knowledge of wine to become a WAC. Your support team at Wine Adventures will teach you everything you need to know.
4. How am I trained?
One of our most effective ways of training is the use of webinars. We also have training materials in the member's area of a WAC's website. And, as usual, your Wine Adventures support team is always willing to answer any questions.
5. Do I have to continue to purchase wines for each party? If so, how much are the wines?
Our Wine Adventure Consultants are responsible for the cost of the party wines. The majority of our wines are sold to our consultants at $10.
6. In what states can I hold an In-Home Wine Adventure?
You can hold an In-Home Wine Adventure in any of the 50 states except Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Utah.
7. Do I need to have a liquor license to be a Wine Adventure Consultant (WAC)?
You do not need a liquor license to be a WAC. Our WAC do not sell directly to the customer, therefore eliminating the need to have one.
8. Are party leads provided by the company?
If inquiries come through the company, they will be forwarded to the nearest WAC. For the most part, party leads are generated by the WAC.
9. Are Wine Adventure Consultants (WAC) restricted to selling in a specific territory?
No. There are no territory restrictions with Wine Adventures.
10. Is there an inventory requirement?
Our WAC do not need to hold an inventory of the wine as they will not be the ones distributing the product.
11. How is product distributed?
Product is shipped from our vineyard directly to the customer.
12. How are Wine Adventure Consultants (WAC) compensated for having and In-Home Wine Adventure?

13. How is the host/hostess compensated for having an In-Home Wine Adventure?
Your host/hostess have the potential to receive anywhere from 2 to 12 bottles of wine as a gift.
14. Can I hold a Wine Adventure in a location other than a home?
Yes…actually, we encourage it. Some places that we have found beneficial to the consultant are locations such as Bed and Breakfast Inns, small hotels, and RV Parks.
15. Can I sell Agua Dulce Wines to a restaurant?

16. Can I sell Agua Dulce Wines to a specialty wine shop, or online?
We do not want our WAC selling our wines through any retail shop, or any other website other than their Wine Adventures Website.
17. Can I promote Agua Dulce Wine Adventures with another In-Home Party Company?
We do not recommend promoting Wine Adventures with another In-Home Party Company. We have found that this will take away from your presentation and sales.
